I love music. I especially love writing music, its like a drug, an addiction that I can't shake. Not that I would ever want to. I've been writing ever since I picked up the guitar at sixteen. Subjects dear to my heart that crop up include God, love, betrayal, girls, and trying to find a remotely sensible way to view life. You know, the usual stuff.

Taiko
I am also part of WaiTaiko, a Japanese drumming group based at Waikato Uni. Its a very physical, very loud, and very enjoyable performace art. We play all over for various festivals and occasions. Highlights include playing in Wanganui for the New Zealand premiere of The Last Samurai and road trips to the likes of Gisborne and Whangarei.
